The welded joints structure formation features were investigated. It is established, that the use of Al-Cu filler materials with addition of rare earths metals improves the formation and mechanical properties of welded joint, reduces the probability of defects formation such as incomplete fusion along the grain boundaries. The full heat treatment of welded joints provides the strength level about 0,9 of the strength of the base material.

Kravchenko I. N., Kolomeychenko A. V., Kolomeychenko A. A., Butenko D. M. — Plasma sputtering research of self-fluxing alloys remote through the use of remote arc with simultaneous coating melting

One of the most advanced and effective methods to increase machines and mechanisms component life is the application of hardening coatings on their working surfaces. The coatings from self-fluxing alloys on nickel base, which are applied by means of plasma spraying, have acquired wide application in different engineering fields. Increase of properties and cohesive resistance of plasma coatings from self-fluxing alloys on nickel base is possible by means of surface coating fusion at the definite temperature. The calculation method of fusion penetration at coating spraying by self-fluxing alloys using remote arc and considering material thermal conductivity variation that depends on porosity and temperature is suggested in the article. Values of heat conductivity factors for self-fluxing alloys on nickel base are determined experimentally.
The obtained dependence usage allows definite choice of remote arc capacity. The obtained calculated and experimental data discrepancy is less than 10 %.

Peshkov V. V., Bulkov A. B. — Kinetics of physical contact development at the titanium diffusion welding

Influence of the microroughnesses height on the kinetics of physical contact development at the diffusion welding is established in accordance with results of the experimental studies carried out on samples from titanium alloys OT4 and VT14 with model microroughnesses simulating the roughness of real surfaces. It is shown that at increase of the microroughnesses height the speed of the physical contact development decreases, which is connected with the deformative hardening of the metal in the contact zone, due to stresses locating and deformation in the tops of the microroughnesses.

Lyalyakin V. P., Murzaev V. P., Slinko D. B., Solovev R. Yu. — Physical and mechanical properties of the coatings produced by arc metallization through the use of flux-cored wires

The research results of the coatings physical and mechanical properties obtained by sputtering through the use of the flux-cored wires with the various charge components are adduced. It is noted that the arc sputtering is a productive method that can be applied to wear-resistant, heat-resistant and corrosion-resistant coatings. This coatinge limitation is reduced adhesion strength. The analysis of theoretical substantiations on the basis of previous studies with the purpose of the coatings adhesive strength increasing is given. Results of researches on study of microhardness, macrostructure, adhesion strength and the amount of wear of coatings obtained by sputtering through the use of the flux-cored wires are adduced. According to the research results flux-cored wires are identified, which will permit to get enhanced physical and mechanical properties of the coatings.

Saykov I. V., Denisov I. V., Malakhov A. Yu., Pervukhin L. B., Chernyshov O. G., Korms I. A., Knyazev A. V. — Getting of the thermal bimetal brass-invar through the use of explosion welding followed by rolling

In the present work we tested a new technological scheme for receipt of the thermal bimetal brand TB 1353 (TB 130/17), in which the active layer is a brass brand L63, and the passive layer — Invar 36N. The methodology includes the preparation of a two-layer blank L63 + 36N through the use of explosion welding followed by hot and cold rolling. This bimetal final thickness is 6 mm at practically equal thickness of layer components. Particular attention is given to the structure and composition of the thermal bimetal adjacent zone and influence of the hot and cold rolling on this zone. Also, the mechanical tests results of obtained bimetal samples are adduced. Excessive bending of the two-layer strip during hot rolling allows to consider more perspective technological scheme, including receipt blank L63 + 36N through the use of explosion welding, and its subsequent cold rolling to the final thickness of the intermediate heat treatment.
