Кarkhin V. А., Levchenko А. М., Khomich P. N. — Hydrogen diffusion model at welding high-strength steels

Physical and mathematical models for hydrogen diffusion taking into account welded joint inhomogeneity in microstructure, temperature distribution, residual stresses and reversible and irreversible traps of hydrogen are presented. The problem of diffusion is formulated with respect to the conditional potential of mass transfer and chemical potential. By the example of single-pass butt welding of 2,25Cr — 1Mo highstrength ferritic steel, the effects of welding consumables on diffusion processes are demonstrated. Utilization of austenitic consumables instead of ferritic ones leads to reduction in hydrogen concentration in the HAZ by 3 times. The residual stresses affect slightly.

PRODUCTION SECTION

Poletaev Yu. V., Poletaev V. Yu., Khubiev A. E. — Single-pass electric arc welding with forced formation of the weld metal in the vertical position of the thick laminated structures

The science-based technology of single-pass electric arc automatic welding under a thin layer of slag, with the forced formation of the weld metal in the vertical position (AST), instead of electroslag welding. Technology AST have been tested during the welding test pieces with a length of one meter and thicknesses up to 160 mm, from carbon and low alloy steels stamps 22K, 09G2S, 10ГН2МФА and 15Х2НМФА. To assess the scale effects, the developed technology AST used in the completion of the test weld with a thickness of 250 mm and length up to 6 m of steel 15Х2НМФА-ВРВ. The obtained results of non-destructive and destructive methods of quality control of the welded joint, in the state after high tempering, meet the requirements of regulatory and technical documents.

Kotov S. А., Lyabin N. А., Grigoryants А. G., Shiganov I. N., Tsvetkov D. S., Vasyutkin E. S. — Parting cut technology of the constructional fiberglass by continuous radiation of ytterbium fiber laser

Products made of glass fiberre in forced plastics (GFRP) are widely used in transport engineering and building industry, in particular, in the manufacture of road noise screens and fireproof panels of railway transport. Cutting the curved contour is used at the final stage of their manufacture, for example, to form holes and grooves. For this, traditional machining methods are used: mechanical cutting with diamond tools and waterjet cutting.
The laser cutting is an alternative to traditional machining methods and is characterized by the absence of expensive consumables, restrictions on the cut contour, shape and size of the part and mechanical impact on the workpiece, which are advantages for the industrial application of this technology. As are sults of experimental studies of the thermoplastic and thermoset GFRP cutting with a thickness 3—8 mm by cw radiation of ytterbium fiber laser with a wavelength 1,06 μm and 1 kW power the main technological parameters that provide quality and productivity required for industry are determined.

Volkov А. М., Samorukov М. L., Ovsepyan S. V., Bakradze М. М. — Features of rotary friction welding of the granular heat-resistant nickel alloy VZH178P

The promises of rotational welding application for disk blanks made from Ni-base superalloys are reviewed. The investigation results of the joining via such method billets from new alloy VZh178P are put. Tension and creep rupture testing are carried out after inertia welding in full-heat treated condition. The results are analyzed in point of view microstructure changing. The influence of addition ageing after the welding on microstructure in joining area is investigated. The directions of further works are suggested.

Moskvitin G. V., Pugachev M. S. — Influence of the sputtering technological parameters on the mechanical properties of gas-dynamic coatings

Methods of testing the coatings of copper, aluminum, zinc, and nickel for shear and stretching by means of an annular tear-off method applied by gas-dynamic spraying are considered. It has been shown that shear and tensile testing techniques make it possible to obtain the dependence of the adhesion strength of the coatings with the substrate from the temperature of their application. Tests for cohesive strength of coatings of copper, aluminum, and zinc at stretching with use of method of prevention of circular tear-off showed minimal spread of values (≤5 %). EFFECT: increased authenticity of obtained mechanical properties.

STANDARDIZATION, PRODUCTION QUALITY

Vybornov A. P., Bigus G. A., Remizov A. L. — Uniform standards for defects in butt welds with inclusions

The article considers the approach to determining the quality standards of welded butt joints with inclusion, as well as issues related to determining the maximum allowable values of the stress intensity coefficient KI. The relation dependence of this coefficient to permissible stress KI/σ from the thickness of the joint with inclusion is obtained. The joints thickness of low-carbon and low alloy steels in which fatigue cracks will not develop are determined.

ECONOMIC AND PRODUCTION ORGANIZATION

Ragrin N. A., Belekova Zh. Sh. — Methods for improving the quality of welding of aluminum alloys

Certain modes and conditions of "cold" welding allow you to get high quality weld.
The wire feed speed affects the speed. The resulting dependence, reflecting the nature of the influence of wire transfer speed on the limit value of the weld. A mathematical model has been developed to calculate the maximum limit of welding power depending on the wire feed speed.
