The original design of the MVS with improved metrological characteristics, i.e. increased sensitivity and steepness of the conversion characteristic due to the additional execution of slits under the bevel in the Ministry of Internal Affairs is given. Analytical relations for the analysis and design of the MVS are derived, taking into account the bevel of the slots and experimental confirmation of the results obtained. Studies have shown that ways to increase the sensitivity and steepness of the transformational characteristics of vibration acceleration sensors play an important role in instrumentation and there is a need to study previously known and, based on the experience of their creation, explore new possible ways of design solutions.

In order to improve the technology of manufacturing spring materials, the technological possibilities of using preliminary thermomechanical treatment to obtain increased hardness and ductility of carbon steels have been studied. The fundamental possibility of hardening metals by the method of broadening extrusion, as well as with the use of subsequent heat treatment, is shown. The results obtained can be used in the production of spring materials and core parts (small tools, fasteners, etc.).

Golovkin P. A., Kryukov A. V. — The effect of pre-deformation on the structure of the material and the quality of the surface when turning steel 30KhGSA

The article shows that taking into account the successive impacts on the metal material during its various processing allows you to obtain high-quality parts with the specified balanced target and technological characteristics with minimal costs. The parameters of forging that provide a balanced set of parameters of workability by cutting, material quality and surface cleanliness of the machined workpieces made of 30XGSA steel are justified.
It is shown that forging makes it possible to neutralize such a feature of the original bars as the presence of an undesirable zone of breaking of the deformation rates formed during their rolling, and increases the uniformity of the material of the workpieces. In addition, the use of complex forging due to the uniform processing of the material of the workpieces provides a better quality of their surface during turning, stabilizes the load on the tool.

The work determines the wear time of cast iron gears with thermal diffusion coatings of vanadium, chromium and manganese depending on the torque and hardness of the coatings in the implementation of two types of wear: wear of the entire coating without fatigue spalling and wear to the formation of defects of a critical size and subsequent spalling coatings.

The article deals with the issues of improving the performance of a servo electro-hydraulic feed drive with an analog control system, designed to be used as a drive for the gripping body of an industrial robot. As a result of the studies of the typical scheme, the main drawback was revealed — limited speed capabilities. In the process of finding a way out of this situation, a variant of the drive with feedback on the position of the damper was proposed.

Dronov E. A., Barakhov V. I. — Determination of volume fractions of components of the material of parts, blanks, injection molds using X-ray computed tomography

Presented in the article are tomographic research results obtained for distribution of cladding mix components volume fractions in casting mold unit cells in the areas of silica sand sloughing during casting of blank for diesel engine cast-iron cylinder. X-raycomputational tomography was used to determine volume fractions of silica sand, phenolics and pores within the area of sand sloughing as well as to identify the main cause of sloughing. Given herein are tomograms obtained for cross-sections of diesel engine cast-iron cylinder blank with defective area occurred where silica sand mixed with cast iron during casting process.

The article presents a description of the structural and technological features of the ship's shear-rotary expansion joints used, design schemes of a new generation of shearrotary expansion joints are given, and an analysis of their operation under static and dynamic loading conditions is given, indicating the shortcomings in the perception of vibration loads and the shifting moments that occur during operation, a shear-rotary compensator of a new type with an unloading device inside a corrugated bellows is proposed, which can significantly reduce the amount of shifting forces during shear and angular rotations and thereby significantly expand the functionality and technological capabilities of the new compensator.

Ponomarev K. S. — Automated modular system for metrological maintenance of measuring instruments in the context of modern digital representation of information

The article states that at the present stage of development of the economy and industry, an effective way to improve the efficiency of an organization is to automate the processes of its functioning. This is also true for metrological activities in the enterprise.
In modern conditions, there is a problem of high workload of the personnel of the metrology department, which can be solved through the use of an automated modular system for the metrological maintenance of measuring instruments. The article discusses the main components of this system, as well as an example illustrating the positive effect of its implementation in the functioning of the metrology department of an enterprise.

Nazarenko M. A., Kruglova Yu. V. — Topical issues of quality management using CALS-technologies to create a production model of Industry 4.0

The paper presents topical issues that arise in the process of digitalization of engineering industries on the way to the implementation of Industry 4.0. CALS technologies are a necessary component of a smooth transition to a new system of production processes, increasing the efficiency of organizations and approaches to ensuring the required product quality at all stages of the product life cycle. The article puts forward an assumption about the three technologies "Predictive quality analytics", "Machine vision for quality control", "Standard work", as promising in terms of their use by RSP enterprises in the field of product quality assurance and control in the process of evolutionary transition to Industry 4.0.
