Vaytsekhovich S. M. — Profiling of long-length pipe products on the rolling and drawing mill when drawing

The main points of the manufacturing technology of spiral-profile heat exchange pipes — passive heat transfer intensifiers for sectional shell-and-tube steam, water-water heaters, separators for separating dissolved gas from liquid hydrocarbons and the smallest droplets; separation of two liquids are considered: engine oil and water, sorting of finely ground material by size and specific gravity using air flow.

TECHNOLOGY AND EQUIPMENT FOR MECHANICAL AND PHYSICAL-TECHNICAL PROCESSING

DOI: 10.34641/TM.2022.245.11.074
Saikin S. A., Koryazhkin A. A. — Determination of kinematic cutting angles when milling internal threads

In the process of metalworking of parts that are not bodies of rotation (brackets, clamps, tees, corners, covers, housings, etc.), CNC milling machines are used in piece and medium-scale production. These parts have holes with metric thread diameters from 4 mm to 18 mm, manufactured according to 5...6 quality. Thread milling is widely used to ensure complex thread processing on CNC machines. The complex spatial movement of the tool significantly affects the milling process. One of the key problems in the design of the milling cutter is to ensure positive kinematic rear angles during the cutting process.
The article presents the calculation of kinematic rear angles when milling threads in holes.
Key words: threading, internal thread, kinematic rear angle, passing and counter milling

Zharov M. V. — Improvement of the integrated automated control system for complex dynamic processes in thermocompression processing

The article discusses the results of research on improving the automated control system for the operation of a thermocompression installation during the implementation of the processes of isothermal deformation and stamping in a state of superplasticity.
Key words: thermocompression, thermal expansion, coefficient of thermal expansion, problems of system inertia, automated control system, isothermal stamping, defect formation

FRICTION AND WEAR IN MACHINES

DOI: 10.34641/TM.2022.245.11.076
Moskvin V. K., Kuznetsov P. M., Feofanov A. N. — Improving the performance of a rotary stepper electrohydraulic drive

The article discusses the issues of improving the operational characteristics of a rotary stepper electrohydraulic drive used as a feed drive for CNC machines. During the study of this drive, it was revealed that along with a number of advantages, the drive has a significant drawback — limited speed capabilities. The reason for this is the imperfection of the design of the tracking spool. The article suggests a way out of this situation.

WELDING, RELATED PROCESSES AND TECHNOLOGIES

DOI: 10.34641/TM.2022.245.11.077
Vasiliev P. A., Shvedov M. A., Grigoriev V. S. — Copper. Friction stir welding in an aqueous medium

The results of experimental work on the technology of friction stir welding of copper blanks in an aqueous medium are presented. The microstructure and mechanical properties of the resulting welded joint and their change during heat treatment were studied.
A decrease in the temperature of the tool and an increase in the specific energy consumed in the process of welding in an aqueous medium have been established. A method for controlling the temperature in the welding area by measuring the thermo-EMF of a bimetallic copper-tool material contact is proposed.
Key words: copper, mechanical properties, friction stir welding, tool, thermoelectric effect

Varochko A. G., Prokhorovich V. E., Pavutnitsky Yu. V., Kuznetsov S. V., Petrokovsky S. A., Sevalnev A. V. — Ways to improve the load-bearing structures of launch vehicles based on the use of friction stir welding technology

The article discusses the directions of computational and experimental work to reduce the mass of the design of the fuel compartments of the LV, which can currently be implemented in connection with the introduction of friction welding with mixing in JSC "Khrunichev State Research and Development Center" - a new technological process for the domestic practice of rocketry for connecting parts of compartments. This technological process is considered the most promising in the manufacture of large-sized thinwalled structures, which also include rocket fuel compartments. In foreign practice, it has become widely used for the manufacture of modern rocket launchers developed by many rocket-building firms.

Denisova Ya. V., Kozlova D. Yu., Sopin V. F. — Methodological approaches to creating an effective system of incoming control and procurement management

A key component of the quality management system is the input quality control of raw materials, materials and components. The course of the further production process and the quality of the manufactured products depend on the correctness of its implementation, the accuracy of compliance with all necessary procedures. Another important aspect that is inextricably linked with input control is working with suppliers. In order to minimize costs and increase the effectiveness of actions, it is necessary to establish stable and well-coordinated work on the supply of raw materials, materials and components. To accomplish this task, the company must develop and approve a methodology for evaluating suppliers, allowing them to conduct a comprehensive analysis, choose the most reliable suppliers with a proven reputation and high key indicators.
Key words: input control, procurement, procurement activity, supplier, supplier evaluation methodology, production
