Shipilov A. V., Yerofeyev V. A., Poloskov S. I. — Detection of optimal conditions of fusion of additional wire the automatic orbital welding of steel pipelines

Physicomathematical model of fusion of a wire at the TIG-welding is developed for detection of maximum accepted values of feed speed of addition at the orbital non-consumable electrode arc welding and for exception of lack of fusion of edge preparation or between layers of a weld. As a criterion of optimal wire feed speed it is suggested using the ratio between speed, power and diameter of the arc flame at which stable fusion of a wire is ensured. Simulation of formation process of a weld confirmed acceptability of the suggested criterion.

Poletayev Yu. V. — Influence of chemical microheterogeneity on tendency to the local destruction of metal in the heat affected zone (HAZ) of welded joints

The mechanism of influence of chemical and structural microheterogeneity on formation of tendency to local destruction of metal in the heat affected zone (HAZ) of welded joints of steel 12Х18Н12Т under conditions of high-temperature low-frequency low-cycle load is theoretically substantiated and experimentally confirmed. The method for estimated probability of fluctuating initiation of areas of chemical microheterogeneity in view of growth of austenitic grain and influence of heat input is developed.
