Kisarev A. V., Kobernik N. V. — Formation of a thin wall from an aluminum alloy at its additive growth under various thermal conditions

The paper considers the formation aspects of thin walls obtained by the wire-arc growing technology (WAAM). A series of experiments on growing a thin wall under different thermal conditions is carried out. The finite element method is used to solve the thermal task of the growing process a thin wall under specified conditions. The metallographic analysis of the obtained samples is carried out. The width and height dependences of the deposited layer from the temperature of the previous bead are plotted.

Potapov N. N., Volobuev Yu. S., Feklistov S. I. — Consequences of the reaction between metal and slag during melting welding

The reactions of interaction between metal and slag in fusion welding are considered.
For the first time the equivalent umpurities is proposed. Equivalent allows multiple correlation to be reduced to correlation of two variables in order to determine the effect in the mechanical characteristics of the weld metal.

Petrovskaya A. A., Fomina S. A., Melnikov D. M., Tulipanova E. M., Melnikova M. A., Kholopov A. A. — Application of laser radiation for the synthesis of nanopowders in liquid media

This article discusses the features of obtaining a metal nanopowder by laser ablation in a liquid. Metal nanopowdersare increasingly used in various fields of science and technology, including additive technologies. A growing number of researchers around the world are using laser ablation in liquids. However, this method has a number of properties related to the kinetics of particle growth during cooling of the plasma plume. The effect of energy in a pulse was also investigated in this paper.

Darmaev A. N., Muravyev E. K., Sablin V. M., Morev S. P. — Features of the formation of an electron flow in electron-optical systems with an autoemission cathode for the installation of electron-beam welding

The simulation results of two different electron-optical systems (EOS) designed for a small-sized electron-beam welding machine are presented. Tungsten thermionic and field emission cathodes were considered as electron sources. The features of electron beam focusing up to 20 kV of accelerating voltage, including scattering of the transverse velocity components of electrons, are also presented.

PRODUCTION SECTION

Olefirenko N. A., Ovchinnikov V. V. — Complex technology for improving the wear resistance of the working surfaces of the crankshafts of freon compressors

The article shows that to improve the quality and properties of coatings obtained by electro arc metallization in the restoration of the cranial shafts of the Freon compressor, a rational process-building scheme is needed to ensure that the fracas are improved, achieving optimal logging properties at each stage. Comparison of the methods of preparing the surface of the shafts of steel 45 for metallization showed that the highest values of the coating grip with the substrate are provided by ultrasonic treatment of the surface of the shaft. It is proposed to perform the metallization process in supersonic mode of the expiry of transporting gas in the introduction of aerosol flux on a water-based jet. It is shown that the ion implantation of the coating after its mechanical treatment with the introduction of copper ions, lead and tin contributes to the durability of the coating layer.

Bogdanov A. V., Buketkin B. V., Kholopov A. A., Perestoronin A. V., Galiullin R. — The effect of subsequent laser processing on the properties of welded joints made by pulsed laser welding

Pulse laser welding provides welds in thin-walled and miniature structures without their significant deformation. However, the features of the weldment surface geometry are the foundation of the presence of corrosion and stress concentrators. To eliminate them and to decrease the weldment surface roughness pulse laser processing with surface melting is often used, however, the influence of this process on the weldment properties is not sufficiently studied yet.
In this work it is shown that pulse laser processing with the weldment surface melting with the optimal regime parameters provides the decrease of the its roughness more than twice and the elimination of the corrosion and stress concentrators. The process can be carried out on the same equipment with the welding. Wherein, mechanical properties of the welds are practically unchanged, and no significant changes of the metal structurewere founded. The tendency of the welds to corrosion cracking as a result of the applied processing, at least, does not increase.

Today, in modern Russia, the decrease in wear resistance and contact fatigue endurance of locomotive and wagon wheels is the main and most expensive problem in the railway industry. In this scientific work, we studied the application of the magnetic structural method of measuring coercive force (coercimetry) to analyze and evaluate the condition of wheeled steel of grade 2 after heat treatment.
