Results of structural, physical and chemical inhomogeneity investigation of oblong ingots up to 1.4 tonne from 38ХН3МФА steel with cold deadhead are covered. These ingots are intended for tube shell operation. Comparison of the obtained data with the one of the analogous ingots classically manufactured is shown.

Ivanov V. S., Ivanov D. V. — Analysis of bi-rotor machine configuration for edge cutting round-profile parts with discrete-slot surface texture

On the basis of manufacturing capability analysis of series-produced turn/mill it is established that these machines are to be updated in order to be used for round-profile parts production with discrete-slot surface texture. Machine configuration stages are described. Formalization first principles of the kinematic structure showing quantitative and qualitative structure of the machine movable blocks, conjugation technique (sequential or parallel) and coordinate belonging are stated.

Demidov V. V. — Efficiency of gear milling by involute hobbing cutters with teeth rational geometry by force test

3D-images of the work material cut-off layers are obtained by computer simulation method of the spur gear milling process kinematics, gear milling has been carried out by involute hobbing cutters with teeth of different profiles. A new practically feasible profile of mill cutters is offered. Measured results of cutting force components at gear milling by involute hobbing cutters with both offered teeth profile and positive rakes and by cutters with only positive rakes are covered.

Terekhov V. M., Kondratenko L. A., Vinnikov V. S. — Forge-rolling force interaction

Force interaction in forge-rolling used for pipe fastening in tube plate of a heat-exchange apparatus is analyzed. Mechanics of the tube rolling process, roller and gudgeon interaction force characteristic are illustrated by construction of a forge-rolling. Software to calculate torsion torque on the tail of a forge-rolling used for fastening heat-exchange tubes up to 16 Ѕ 1,5 mm in size.

Results of investigating abrasive and interstice particles’ size and content effect on grinding tool composite strength are covered. Abrasive–binder-contact interaction features are considered, as well tool hardening means depending on the abrasive and binder particles’ sizes, on fine-grained filler introduction, on binder higher reacting activity.

Varlamov D. P., Steklov O. I. — Defects of corrosion cracking of circumferential welded joints of trunk gas pipelines in the two climatic regions of Russia

It is shown that extremely large quantity of anomalies of welded joints is the risk for safe operation of trunk gas pipeline system not only as possibility of destruction of welded joints but also as formation of the additional factor of origin and development of defects of stress corrosion cracking in the zone of intersection of longitudinal and girth welds.

Veselovsky A. A. — Optimum thickness determination of vanadic, chromic and manganese coating on the gears from high-duty cast iron

Estimation of vanadic, chromic and manganese coating critical thickness on gears from ВЧ60 high-duty cast iron is carried out. Regression dependences of teeth coating minimum thickness at which piercing will not occur in case of solid unbreakable particles may get into the contact area are obtained. Thickness upper limit bounding fatigue life of the diffusion layers is also determined.

A simple applied method of stability design is suggested. In all the strength-of-materials text-books stability design applied method is conducted by method of successive approximations, whereas the suggested method allows obtaining end result at once.

Khanakhmedova S. A. — Analysis of dynamic processes in the starter-generator complex

Results of starter-generator starter mode investigation are covered. Equations of stress equilibrium, of armature motion are given, as well as their transformations for analytical treatment; they are used for determining physics of electromechanical time constant. Transient start-up process of the starter-generator using analytical analysis which includes comparison of starter-generator behaviour with standard engines, belt drive crankshaft motion and effect of an internal combustion engine flywheel is considered.

Shows that, in the build bearing may be three different cases contact phone rolling sound with footpath rolling sound-bearings. Received mathematical depending values clearances between objects and footpath rolling sound, footpath rolling sound, proposed an integrated criterion of quality bearings.
