Sarayev Yu. N., Bezborodov V. P. — Influence of energy parameters of welding process on structure properties of low-alloyed steel welded joints

The research results of the pulse welding process influence on the structure and mechanical properties of welded joints made of low-alloyed steels are given. It is shown that the pulse welding mode makes it possible to improve the structural homogeneity and reduce the size of metal grain of a weld and heat-affected zone. The structural changes lead to the growth of the plasticity of the weld joint metal.

Oryschenko A. S., Pimenov A. V., Shekin S. I., Sharapov M. G. — Research of nonmetallic inclusion influence on toughness of weld metal of steel E36 at low temperatures

The interconnection of the form and composition of nonmetallic inclusion arising in the weld metal at the agglomerated submerged arc welding of the system Mg—CaF2—Al2O3—SiO2 by low-alloyed wires of the steels E36 and АБ2 with the composition of the flux is examined. It is shown that the growth of the part of rounded nonmetallic inclusions and the reduction of the part of extended inclusions in the weld metal as well as the reduction of the average size of inclusions improves the striking energy of the weld metal as the temperature of tests of –40 °C.

Krivonosova Ye. A., Gorchakov A. I. — Fractal analysis of fatigue failure face of weld metal

The research results of the features of the fatigue failure of weld metal with the use of a method of the fractal analysis of rupture faces are given. There is a new method for the physical metallurgy of welding. The fractal dimensionality of the rupture is determined, its connection with kinetic characteristic of the process which is the rate of fatigue crack growth is researched. The influence of the composition of electrode coating on the characteristics of the fatigue failure is established.

Tavolzhansky S. A., Pashkov I. N. — Influence of brazing alloy composition of copper-phosphorus-antimony on structure and technological properties of alloy

The research results of the near-eutectic zone of the alloys of copper — phosphorus — 2 % of antimony are given for the purpose of the study of the structure and properties of alloys. The eutectic composition of the alloy is identified, the conduct of hypoeutectic and hypereutectic alloys is examined and the use of hypereutectic optimal composition is substantiated for the achievement of the high technological properties of a brazing alloy and the quality of brazed joints.

Tsumarev Yu. A., Latypova Ye. Yu., Tsumarev Ye. N. — Influence of structure of overlap welded joint on its stress-strain state

The calculation results of the stress-strain state of overlap welded joints are given. These results confirm that the structure of a joint and the bend of joined plates considerably have an influence on the value of maximum working stresses in longitudinal fillet welds.
