Kollerov M. Yu., Serov M. M., Shlyapin S. D., Runova Yu. E. — Availability investigation of porous material from titanium fibres

Structure and mechanical characteristic investigation results of a porous material from the fibres obtained by the method of a solution hanging drop extraction, diffusion-welded as planar samples and subjected to thermohydrogenous treatment are covered. It is established that metastable martensitic structure of the basic fibres with high crystalline defect concentration favours process development of phase and structure transformations at diffusion welding, ensuring physical contact formation between the fibres.

BLANK PRODUCTION

Vlasov A. F. — Crankshaft electroslag casting from steel 34ХН1М for a gas motor compressor MK-8 using conducting flux

Experimental methodes revealed that the developedway of fabrication of workpieces the crankshaft gas motorcompressors MK-8 from steel 34ХН1M with using a solid start and exothermic fluxes, significantly reduces labor input of its manufacturing. The microstructure of the metal of cervical, cheeks and metal the fusion zone is sorbitoobrazny perlite. 34ХН1M non-heat treated steel in the state is prone to the formation of hairline flakes. Thermal treatment provides the required mechanical properties and no flakes in cast metal from steei electroslag 34ХН1M.

Crystallographic texture and macrostress analyses have been held both on sheet semi-finished and complete products of high-strength medium-alloyed steel 42ХСНМА after different modes of die forming and subsequent heat treatment. Also several ways of optimization have been formulated with the improvement of a commercial armour components production technology being in focus.

Quality rating investigation results of machine-tool load-carrying system are covered. Usually in order to describe machine-tool accuracy such measure as geometric relationship is used. A characteristic allowing qualitative estimation of machine-tool property to produce accepted parts taking into consideration both accuracy and machine output is offered.

Composition and structure research results of thin-walled shell constructions from laminated metal composites with protective coating obtained by different methods of coating are presented. It is shown that small-sized thin-walled shell structures form metal composites may be formed by vacuum-arc sputtering.

Mokritsky B. Ya., Vysotsky V. V. — Influence of radiative irradiation on the tooling material behaviour

Results of radiative irradiation effect on the physical and mechanical properties and service performance of tooling materials are considered. It is shown that applying radiation it is possible to obtain microhardness gradient of the tool material showing maximum microhardness in the surface layers. This raises working capacity of tool.

Stages of creating numerical modelling engine allowing forecasting material structure and properties which are formed during metal deformation process are considered. Results of the tests using aluminium alloy AМг6 which corroborated close fit of expected data and values of solidity, strength and grain size are covered.
